The School of Information Technology is an integral part of the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, which is ranked with a top 50 place in Engineering and Technology (49th) by the 2013/2014 Times Higher Education Subject Ranking, and in top 50 in Computer Science (45th) by 2013 QS Subject Ranking. The School offers Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Business Information Systems, and the quality of the program is underpinned by the undifferentiated degree and accreditation with the Australian Computer Society's accreditation.

 

The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) was established by Parliament under the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia Act 1999, Act 597. The Act was gazetted on 9 September 1999. The inaugural meeting of SUHAKAM was held on 24 April 2000.

 

The statutory responsibilities that SUHAKAM carries out are to promote awareness and provide education relating to human rights, to advise and assist the Government in formulating legislation and procedures and recommend the necessary measures to be taken, to recommend to the Government with regard to the subscription or accession to treaties and other international instruments in the field of human rights and to inquire into complaints regarding infringements of human rights.
